In this project I wanted to pay tribute to my hobby - Mechanical Keyboards. I modeled and animated the keyboard's switch to establish the visual language for this project. Currently I'm working on the rest of the keyboard, as well as on some of the other animations & stills for this project.

Result is a long, but rewarding process.
Key to high-quality realistic result is always a good collection of references. For this project, many of the mechanical keyboard's switch photos I took myself, to make sure I stay true to the original real life version.
